Accident Immediate Actions (First 5 Minutes):

  • Move Vehicles: If the accident is minor, move cars to the shoulder lane to avoid fines. Turn on hazard lights.
  • Call Police? Yes. A report is mandatory for repairs. Use the App for minor accidents; call 999 for major ones.
  • Exchange Info: Get names and numbers from the other driver. Do not admit fault.
Reporting & Documentation:
  • Official Report: You will receive an SMS with a report number (for App reports) or a physical paper (from officer).
  • Report Colors:
    • Green: You are not at fault (victim).

    • White: Neither party is clearly at fault.
  • Hit and Run: If found damaged while parked, do not move the car. Call 999 to report "unknown driver".
